Put the quinoa in a bowl and cover with cold water. Gently rub the grains between your hands and drain in a sift. Rinse in cold water until the water becomes almost clear.
Boil quinoa: 1/3 quinoa and 2/3 water. When the grains are cooked, they are transparent. Cooking time is about 15 min. Remove the pot from the heat, and leave to rest for 5-10 min.
