Exercise

The body is made to move. Our body consists of billions of cells. Every cell is like a little bag full of water. But what happens in nature to water that is standing still? Imagine a lake in the forest where everything is standing still. With no movement in the water no oxygen will be transported to the animals and plants in it. The lake dies. We feel best when the body is a swelling sea with lots of movement, lots of oxygen and lots of force and energy!

Exercise is an amazing tool, both before, during and after cancer. If we were to collect all the positive effects of daily activity and exercise in a pill, we would have the most powerful tool imaginable in terms of preventing cancer. But that kind of pill has not been invented, so we have to take responsibility ourselves and incorporate physical activity and exercise into our everyday lives. The positive effects of exercise are, among many other things, more energy, social time and higher life quality – and if you have cancer, exercise is one of the best ways to take your mind of the disease.

This site will continually bring inspiration and information to you in the form of videos with Chris and Cal as well as statements from cancer experts.

Enjoy!
